Meet our first Featured Caregiver of 2025… LaDawn!

LaDawn has been with the An Answered Prayer Family for a little over a year. She’s originally from Duquesne and still resides in the area with her family. She has two sons, Julian and Jayce. When she’s not working, she’d likely attending one of her sons practices or games and spending quality time with her family. Her favorite food is burgers, favorite type of music is R&B, and her favorite movie is Bring It On.

When asked what caregivers mean to her, LaDawn said “…offering care…support…and compassion to someone’s everyday life.” LaDawn said her favorite part about being a caregiver is “…it is incredibly rewarding. You get to make a positive impact on someone’s everyday life. It’s about providing compassion, support, and a sense of comfort…which can be incredibly fulfilling.” Her advice to new caregivers is to “…develop a trusting relationship by using therapeutic communication.” Some of LaDawn’s favorite memories with her clients were any time they had long talks about their lives.

We’re so thankful for LaDawn and the wonderful addition she’s been to our team. She takes exceptional care of her clients and they are blessed to have her. Keep up the great work!
