Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of December….Schurita!

Schurita has been a caregiver with An Answered Prayer for 9 years! She is originally from Lorain, Ohio and currently lives in Carrick, Pennsylvania. Schurita’s favorite food is steak, her favorite movie is Matilda, and she enjoys listening to R&B music. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her brothers.

Schurita’s favorite part about being a caregiver is getting to travel from home to home and meet different clients. She enjoys getting to know them and their personalities. She is grateful that she is able to help her clients with anything they need. Her advice to new caregivers is to always pay attention to the client while you’re at work, make sure you do what you’re supposed to do like keeping their area clean, feeding them, bathing them, and being on time. Schurita’s favorite memory was surprising her client at church.
