Meet our featured caregiver for April, Donna.

Donna has worked with An Answered Prayer for 6 months. She has lived in McKeesport for 39 years alongside her family and 13-year-old Foxy Terrier. She has 3 children, 4 grandchildren and one great grandson. In her free time Donna enjoys reading, crafting jewelry and crocheting baby booties and dishtowels. When asked about her favorite types of music, she likes all kinds and can’t decide on just one. A fun fact about Donna is that she was previously a truck driver for about 20 years. She loved seeing the country and talking to different kinds of people and listening to their local speech.

Donna’s favorite part about being a caregiver is that she loves being able to help clients in their homes. Her advice to any new caregivers would be to “…ask your client what they want you to do and to help them live every day.” Donnas favorite memory with a client was attending a tea party with the client and her two sisters.
